The Kiwanis Club of Tempe Nuevo hosted its Annual Golf Tournament on October 2, 2021 at Shalimar Country Club. With a shotgun start, thirty-two golfers enjoyed a gorgeous, Arizona, autumn day for the first fundraiser held by the Nuevo club since the start of the global pandemic. While golf was the main event, lunch, awards and raffles were all part of the day's activities.
Nuevo's golf tournament chairman, John Bush, and his committee of Bill O'Connor and Larry Mishler did a great job in putting this tournament together in just three months. Kudos to them all.
Eight other members of Kiwanis Nuevo were participants in either in assisting in running the tournament or were out there golfing: These members included Richard Bauer, Bobbi Caley, Dick Caley, Sam Caley, Nicci Carpenter, Ray Devine, George
Eastlick, John Gillan, and Mary Lou Taylor.
